Custom color at 500 caps.
The client needed an approved Pantone color on a different cap style, at just 500 caps. We arranged a custom dye lot and split delivery between air and sea.
What changed
- Factory — One factory willing to open a custom dye lot at 500 pieces; most decline at that quantity.
- Color — The approved Pantone standard matched on the new fabric, not a stock color.
- Branding & packaging — Logo application, private labeling, and packaging completed in the same run.
- Delivery — Part of the order by air to meet the date; the balance by sea, so the whole order did not carry air freight.
The result
500 caps, matched to the approved Pantone standard.
A small run in the brand’s color, with the first units on time and no air freight on the whole order.
Small batch does not mean stock color. It means finding the factory that will do it right at that quantity.
